A lonely man’s life is suddenly transformed when he finds a television washed up on the beach and takes it home only to discover that there is a mermaid trapped inside.

アイルランド出身の脚本家・監督・撮影監督。長編デビュー作『His & Hers』はサンダンス映画祭のワールドシネマ撮影賞ドキュメンタリー部門を獲得。本作品は脚本・監督を兼任した短編デビュー作。ロンドン･インディペンデント映画祭の最優秀短編賞（国外部門）を含め、多くの賞に輝いている。
Writer/director and cinematographer Michael is from Ireland. "His & Hers", his debut feature, won the World Cinematography Award for Documentary at Sundance. "Out of the Blue", his debut short film as a writer/director, has won numerous awards including Best International Short at the London Independent Film Festival.
