It’s dawn in Mexico City, a man hires a cab for one day. But this languid daytrip has the driver wondering how and when it will all end. This highly stylized short is a great introduction for the audience to the sights and sounds of the real Mexico City.

Director / Matís Meyer
1979年、フランス・Perpignanで生まれ、1987年以降メキシコ・メキシコシティーで暮らす。パリで映画と映画理論を学び、ここ数年間はメキシコシティーのthe Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCCC)で映画監督について学ぶ。2006年に卒業予定。また、Meyerは長編映画『Carnaval de Sodoma』の制作にも関わった。2004年制作の『El Pasajero』はthe Morelia Film Festivalで最優秀賞を受賞。
Mattia Meyer was born in Perpignan, France in 1979 and has been living in Mexico City since 1987. Meyer has twice studied film and theory in Paris, but for the last few years has been a full time directing student at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCCC) in Mexico City, where he will graduate in 2006. Meyer recently worked on the feature “Carnaval de Sodoma” and in 2004 his short film “El Pasajero” won the first prize at the Morelia Film Festival.
